Energy

We use the greenest energy available  from Ecotricity as we believe this is the closest we can get to sustainable power at the moment.
 We try to reduce our energy consumption by baking in batches whenever we can & we don't have a dishwasher.We use solar energy panels to heat our hot water . We have 'A' rated cooker, fridges , freezers & washing machines . We also try to peg our washing on the line to dry in the sun whenever the British weather permits!

Water

We never leave taps running , we wash up in the sink using hot soapy water and rubber gloves because it uses less water than a dishwasher.
Our washing machine is 'A' rated , so uses less water by design.

Cleaning 

We like to be spotlessly clean but we don't like chemicals so.....
We use a hand held steam cleaner to clean all our equipment and ovens.
We use Method cleaning and washing up products because they work and do not harm the world in which we live.
We use Ecoballs to wash our chefs clothing, aprons & teatowels , which saves us money and has no impact on aquatic life .
